From Door To Doctor In Under An Hour At Florida Hospital Deland

DELAND — Florida Hospital DeLand knows pain and patience does not mix; therefore, their emergency department promises - From Door to Doctor in Under an Hour.

That is 3 hours less than the national average, according to Press Ganey Emergency Department Pulse Report.

Not only does Florida Hospital DeLand adhere to their promise of less than an hour but beats it with an average wait under 30 minutes.

To shorten the wait, Florida Hospital DeLand offers a Fast Track area in the Emergency Department designated for patients who have minor injuries or illnesses. This significantly decreases the wait time for all emergency room patients.

Electronic tracking gives real-time results and a sense of exactly how long the Emergency Department visit has lasted.

Shorter waits have become a priority since Emergency Departments have become the front doors to hospitals.

OCOEE, FL –– Standard & Poor and Fitch Ratings recently affirmed the "A" underlying rating on West Orange Healthcare District's approximately $64.3 million of debt. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AAA/A-1+' rating and 'A' underlying rating of Health Central's series 1999B bonds. This rating means the company is stable and that Health Central's solid business position is sound despite considerable competition in the great Orlando market and will continue debt service coverage with the hospital. Fitch's stable outlook 'A-' rating reflects that Health Central will continue to generate sufficient cash flow from operations to support its strong balance sheet and fund future capital needs.
